deserves particular attention as it is the first room the client experiences, and the emotion
of the first encounter is decisive.
To conjure up a bit of magic, Gérard Faivre unleashed his artistic soul to make its design
unique and spectacular. The idea to instil the internationally coveted atmosphere of Saint
Germain-des-Prés in the apartment’s entrance came naturally to Gérard Faivre. He shared
his idea with the photographer Mathieu Fiol, who captured the atmosphere and put the
area’s iconic sights in black and white on canvas to bring the walls to life. The result is like
an invitation to sit on the terraces of legendary venues that contribute to the neighbourhood’s unique charm: Café de Flore, Les Deux Magots and Brasserie Lipp. Soak up the
atmosphere, stroll by luxury boutiques or read and write like so many famous names of
past and present.

legendary venue’s comptoir. The photo was printed on canvas and
