How do you see the relationship between emotional and intellectual perception of your work? In particular, how much do you consider the immersive nature of the viewing experience?

There is a mystery surrounding ancient artefacts, i.e. Where has it come from? How old is it? History has intrigue and holds secrets; no one knows the real story unless it was there to be experienced in the first place. It is up to the viewer's interpretation to create their own story or perception.

I would like my audience to see my works as museum pieces and artefacts long been forgotten.

Thanks a lot for your time and for sharing your thoughts, Kieta . Finally, would you like to tell us readers something about your future projects? How do you see your work evolving?

At present I am working on a body of work which is very much inspired by Jacques Cousteau’s underwater cinematography and how the sea starts to morph old ship wrecks into semi organic structures. Nature has no bounds when it comes to creativity.
