ANNUAL FUNDRAISING The APDT Foundation raises funds for scientific research and for education of dog trainers and supports applied scientific research on dog training and behavior . The aim to further increase the knowledge base of the dog training profession and related fields . Listed below are three ways to support them .

All donations are tax deductible , and an email receipt is sent once processing of your funds is completed . The APDT Foundation is a 501 ( c ) 3 nonprofit organization and its tax ID number is 27-1498724 .

The Grants , Posters and Scholarships Committee of The Association of Professional Dog Trainers Foundation will abstain from scoring any individual

The APDT Foundation reserves the right to change the grants , posters , and scholarship policy and the number of awards or amounts provided to individuals at any time . Individuals do not need to be APDT members to participate in most Foundation programs .
