A BRIDGE TO OUR FUTURE
In 2019, we celebrated AWO’s 75th anniversary – reflecting on and honoring our past,
and working to position the tugboat, towboat and barge industry to succeed and thrive
in a complex and rapidly changing business and public policy environment.
We hope you see in these pages not only the dedication of your AWO team to serving
you, but also opportunities to take your trade association’s performance to the next level
– to make our 75th anniversary year a bridge to a future of continuous improvement and
meaningful results in 2020 and beyond.
We work for you, and we want to hear from you about how we’re
doing and how AWO needs to evolve to meet your needs,
expectations and aspirations for the future. Over the next
year, we will be listening deeply to hear your perspective
on how we can be better advocates, safety leaders and
stewards of your resources.
