Unveiling of the Club Sculpture
The Club will officially unveil its new welcoming sculpture
Saturday 15 October. To celebrate this milestone in the Club’s
history there will be an unveiling ceremony to take place after
racing on the 15 October, post racing at around 4pm.
The Club sculpture has taken over 6 months to create for
marine artist, John Wolfe, however, such a task has been an
honour to produce the Club’s Sesquicentennial sculpture .
“It is an honour to be commissioned by RPAYC to produce the
design and finished sculpture for the Club’s 150th Anniversary”
Said John Wolfe.
“The club has a rich history of racing and that’s what inspired
this piece.” He added.
Image below is the base of which the sculpture will stand at
the front entrance of the Club.
