Cruising Update
November saw the end of the Clarence
Cruise. Neil Driscoll gave a presentation
on safety at November First Friday
with a practical demonstration on
MOB following on Saturday morning.
Everyone came away with some great
tips on life jackets and the practicalities
of MOB with 2 people on board
The cruise after the MOB demonstration,
was held in a strong wind warning and
quite challenging conditions so ended
up in Refuge Bay. We all enjoyed a pot
luck dinner on Madrigal and Nirvana’s
Kitchen. Thanks to Greg and Margaret
for hosting coffee on Sunday morning.
Our cruise to America Bay on 19/20
November was enjoyed by eight boats
gathering for drinks and good social
times.
December First Friday sees Murray
Glase making his comeback singing
appearance and the first, and not last, of
our progressive dinners. It will be a great
way to catch up with ‘old’ mates and
