Club News Alfred’s Table to open in July The Friday Roast is Back!! The service is scheduled to re-open in July. July 7th will be the First Friday service as normal and it is hoped that Alfred’s Table will be ready to provide the high standards that you have come to expect from Friday 14 July. A-Arm Redevelopment Due to a number of operational challenges, particularly with regard to kitchen staffing, Alfred’s Table was suspended for the month of June. This decision had not been taken lightly and we apologise to the many members who support and enjoy Alfred’s Table on a regular basis, however it was necessary in order to ensure that we are able to provide a reliable and high quality dining experience and to best look after the welfare of our staff. Birthday vouchers, will be honored in Halyards for the period of the closure and may be extended through to the end of August to enable those with the vouchers to use them. Boatyard Bookings The Friday Roast is back on the menu! Warm up in Hal- yards with a delicous roast. The Club is pleased to advise members that redevelop- ment works on ‘A’ arm have commenced. Bruce has been in touch with many members who have been interviewed and contributed to the information collected. Thank you to those members who gave their time and if Bruce contacts others, we would be grateful for you to spare him some time. Bill Ebsary along with other members of the Archives Committee is leading the charge on this very important project. The material will include all events leading up to the Club’s Sesquicentennial celebrations and I’m sure all members will look forward to reading it upon its completion.
