We were recently thrilled at the opportunity of hosting
the launch of the greatly anticipated L’Hugenout cellar
on the panoramic Val de Vie estate. What an honour
for us to once again work alongside these incredibly
lovely families, the Ruperts and the Koegelenbergs. We
have been involved in so many milestones for them, the
launch of the brand new La Motte, the much anticipated
launch of Leopard’s Leap as well as 3 fantastic birthday
celebrations. It’s always such a wonderful compliment
when clients return to us.
The event celebrated a brand new partnership with a
Chinese investor, a very exciting prospect for the wine
industry as a whole. The brief was an Asian inspired fine
dining experience. The natural inspiration for the cellar
was the Japanese art ikebana. Hues of reds, beautiful
tulips and harmonious arrangements all culminated in
a grand affair.
Throughout the evening, in between the various African
entertainment acts, guests were regaled with speeches
by leading South African politicians and famous faces,
including the ever-charming Ryk Neethling.
