When one is having fun, one seldom realizes how a
year can just zoom by! I can confidently admit, that
this year has been exceptionally glowing thus far.
Then, the prospect of a visit to Turkey, where we will
coordinate another extremely high profile event, is
making it even better! The Aleit Group is now boasting
with events in Switzerland, Germany, Kenya, Poland,
Spain and soon, Turkey.
The speed of time is emphasized by enquiries already
coming in for 2016. Now that is scary indeed.
A Place, our interior and lifestyle shop at Lourensford
Wine Estate, has stunned us beyond our wildest dreams.
A Place launched in early September, and what was
supposed to satisfy my dream of interior, quickly grew
into other divisions. A Place’s other divisions have
been added organically and inadvertently.
Jeanne-Loïs van der Merwe is running A Place Décor,
and her creative talents are evident when we look back
at the last ten events that A Place styled, designed
and shaped. Was an honour for me to style one of
the largest events The Aleit Group had ever hosted.
The City of Gold could not believe what The A Place
team achieved at the Sandton Convention Centre.
