Deejee
Deejee was born in the beautiful little town of
Ermelo, in the centre of the vast open Highveld of
Mpumalanga. Even in high school Deejee had a
very definite love of the arts - appearing in various
school productions as well as participating in
drama and music of all sorts. After matriculating,
Deejee studied a B.Sc. at the University of the Free
State – it however didn’t take him long to realise
that the total use of his left-brain was never going
to fulfil his being. Deejee took a year to gather
his thoughts, working at a local restaurant and
not long after, managing a small café, doing all
the cooking and baking – he can bake a quiche
blindfolded and still half asleep! This was when
Deejee fell in love with the industry... Deejee
added “I am a balanced and hands on type of
person who gets involved no matter what! I’m
honest and filled with integrity, always striving for
greatness. I could never picture myself conquering
only one dream, it’s always been a mixture of
different things, worlds apart from one another.”
