"Investing in Youth"

"I think it's high time the few youth in authority invested their trust in fellow youth... In our parliament, we have a couple of youthful leaders who show great passion towards uplifting the lives of the rural masses. If the government was to look at the youth as an investment, a lot would change."

"The reason why corruption persists here in Somalia is because of the prolonged instability - It has produced weak institutions that are supposed to deal with the issue. For example, the judiciary system has only just started picking up. Secondly, the masses are not really aware that corruption is a vice, sensitization programmes are needed in order to educate the populace"
