This is such a nice photo typical of early morning fishing for tigerfish
at Olive Beadle on the Zambezi up-stream of Kariba. My 12 year old
grandson Riley Mirtle caught it and released it just after the photo was
taken. The fish weighed 4.58kg. This took place the morning before
the Junior T.F.Z. Needless to say that although he and his cousin
Jordan Smith won the event they never caught a fish near that size
during the actual competition.
Although one can’t see features I still like the photo and thought
you might too.

I caught this bottlenose at D camp Nyakasanga at 8am on
September 6 while trying to fish for bream or chessa. This is
my first bottlenose. We didn’t have a scale in camp but had a
