Dear Editor This photo was taken on Saturday 19th January at Chisoba Dam . Mazabuka in Zambia . There were even larger barbel than these in the picture . All barbel were filled with eggs , and the biggest was about 40kg . This dam has only filled this season after about 20 years !!! I ' ve managed to establish that this Chisoba dam filled from the Kalaya river , so presumably these barbel were in the river . The little chap standing with the fish is Angus Pinkney eight years old . This appeared to be " Hill Billy ” type fishing done with clubs . Sincerely Owen Connor . Zambia
Dear Editor My wife Hannah took a photo of me in Bonaire ( Dutch Carribean ) on our honeymoon ! It was taken after scuba diving and I was relaxing on the beach with a beer and my African Fisherman mag !! Regards Colin Ashworth
