It was a dark and stormy night... no really, it was!
s the wind outside howled and whistled eerily overhead, the thunder and lightning drew rapidly closer with more intensity. The first marble-sized rain drops began to beat against the canvas with ominous rhythm. Suddenly the small dome-tent, pitched hastily on this desolate and expansive beach, didn’t seem like such a great place to be. Struggling against the gusting wind the tent was pushed over at an uncanny angle. Then the heavens opened with a vengeance. The heavy raindrops cut straight through the flimsy walls.
