Some N-11 countries and African reformers (mentioned above) are
not only growing at an annual 3%, they appear to be dogged at keeping
inflation in the single digits while employing labor. Most of them now
outpace the first world and BRICS nations on the Emerging market
index.
The “Doing-Business-Index (see Table below) for Africa was
developed by the World Bank and the IFC based on factors including:
credit accessibility, timeline for business registration (length of time to
register a business or to close a business down), level of protection for
investors, enforceability or realisability of assets and contracts, payment
