opportunities in the
African banking
sector

Africa is the continent where the banking sector
records its highest rates of return while growing at
a very fast pace. Despite its potential, foreign banks
are still highly averse to investing in Africa. The sector
has not seen any new large foreign players stepping
in, and the unprecedented growth recorded over the
past ten years has been almost exclusively driven by
