Jesus said to his disciples, “As the Father
has sent me, so do I” and he released the
Holy Spirit on them. As Jesus is the Son
to the Father, likewise even we those who
believe Jesus will be the Sons of God. So
we are not disciples and friends but only
Sons and the rightful inheritors of God’s
power and authority. On the earth, we
are the rightful heirs of our parent’s
property. In the same manner whatever
is in the Kingdom of God, we inherit it
and enjoy it as His Sons.
Here we learn that even Jesus did not receive all the power of the Holy Spirit at
once but received it in different measures
as He grew up. Likewise, we too will get
stronger in the Spirit as we delve deeper
into the Word and grow in it.
Now we shall see the levels of the Holy
Spirit.
As Jesus grew he received the Holy Spirit which descended on Him like a dove.
And the Father affirms that Jesus is His
beloved Son. When we believe Christ
and are born again then God will introduce us to the world. The birth of Christ
was by the Holy Spirit, He grew up with
the Holy Spirit and was also introduced
to the world by the Holy Spirit.
