2 Cor 1:2 - Grace be to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. I n this verse, the Word says that grace comes before peace. God is a Comforter who gives us peace. Anger, cursing, condemnation and division are not godly qualities. Thus, peace comes freely as a gift from God. We should also pray to the Lord of lords for grace and peace for our families and ourselves all the time. 2 Cor 1:3 – Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Are we thoughtful about the fact that we are rejected or that we are not useful in a particular area? In the same area, God will comfort us! For instance, we may have money, but not health. Perhaps, we may have good health but we do not have enough money or, we may have both. But there may be an absence of peace in our family life. God is the only One who can comfort us in all these areas. For this reason, we should put our trust in Him, have faith in Him and pray to Him.
