to it. We ought to pray seriously. The devil trembles at an unceasing fervent prayer. God raised many anointed people who delivered the Israelites but they went into bondage again. They were set free and in bondage, time and again. After sometime, God raised Jesus, the son of Abraham, the son of David. The devil after attacking Abraham also attacked David. Jezebel used the king and led the nation into Baal worship. The devil used the kings to trouble the Israelites. The devil uses such a strategy to gain control and lead the people into bondage. So God has made us, his children as the Kings and Priests. Only a king with his anointing power can fight the devil. The Egyptians made the children of Israel serve with rigour. The devil has placed in the church , AIDS, Cancer, T.B., B.P., Diabetes, Arthritis, Heart problems, Lung problems, Kidney problems, most deadly and incurable diseases, pain and trouble. But the church is not aware of them. The church could not identify that it was in bondage. If the church would be aware of it then it can try to come out of it. What a pathetic situation of the church. Inspite of being the children of Abraham for 2000 years, the church has been in such a pitiable state. The church is facing such a hard time of financial problems, debts, extreme poverty etc. Take note that the devil is fighting the blessings of generations. Now as we are exposing the devil from the roots and are being made aware of his tricks, he will make our lives bitter. He will make us so helpless that we will not be able to work or function without the help of medication. Inorder to free the Israelites out of their bondage, God made a person ready for the task – Moses! But the devil started fighting with him. The devil will not only keep us in bondage but also fight with our deliverer so that we can be in bondage. God wishes to keep the blessings for generations by crushing the devil under our feet. Satan wishes to keep us in bondage by fighting our deliverer. The devil knew about Moses. So he tried to kill Moses when he was a child. The devil made the Pharaoh give a decree that all the male Israelite children be put to death. The Devil knew the time and gender of the deliverer. The devil is smarter than the children of God. Exodus 1: 15-16 says, And the king of Egypt spake to the Hebrew midwives, of which the name of the one was Shiphrah, and the name of the other Puah: And he said, When ye do the office of a midwife to the Hebrew women, and see them upon the stools; if it be a son, then ye shall kill him: but if it be a daughter, then she shall live. The devil was successful in killing many thousands of children. It was genocide of a generation. Why did the devil kill? The devil killed a generation so that the Israelites would be in a severe bondage. For 2000 years, the devil might have successfully killed many people to put the church in severe bondage. The spiritual war is more real than our physical war. God has stored some remnant praying spirits. Now we have to pray for the deliverance and put Satan under our feet. The devil’s attacks are serious. He killed one whole generation which tried to come out of the bondage. We should not take the devil easy and be lenient 1 Samuel 18: 11 says, And Saul cast the javelin; for he said, I will smite David even to the wall with it. And David avoided out of his presence twice. Here the devil wanted to kill the young man David. 1 Samuel 19: 10 says, And Saul sought to smite David even to the wall with the javelin; but he slipped away out of Saul’s presence, and he smote the javelin into the wall: and David fled, and escaped that night. Here the devil through Saul wanted to kill David with one blow. 1 Samuel 20 : 31 says, For as long as the son of Jesse liveth upon the ground, thou shalt not be established, nor thy kingdom. Wherefore now send and fetch him unto me, for he shall surely die. King Saul was very passionate to kill David. Samuel 23: 14-15 says, And David abode in the wilderness in strong holds, and remained in a mountain in the wilderness of Ziph. And Saul sought him every day, but God delivered him not into his hand. And David saw that Saul was come out to seek his life: and David was in the wilderness of Ziph in a wood
