MAN OF GOD K. SHYAM KISHORE 1John 4 : 16 - 17 says, And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgement: because as he is, so are we in this world. We have been taught that we should love our God with our whole heart, mind and soul. But we should first be aware of how much God loves us. We should believe His love. People ask us how much we love God and what we have done for Him? negative actions make us belittle ourselves. But God loves us to the extent that he can deliver us from all our problems. Grace is for a believer who wants to follow Law and is not able to do. Grace is not for people who misuse it. A sinner who is leading a sinful life, will take advantage of Grace and sin in the open. A hypocrite thinks Grace is a license to sin. Only Law will check the behaviour of a hypocrite. For it is written in the word which says, Law is for sinners, liars, cheaters etc. A believer who wants to be righteous, stand for the Lord and wants to do good works, God gives His grace to him. Many people shiver with the thought of uncertainity on the judgement day. But we should be bold on the judgement day. God wants us to be bold. How can we be bold? When we believe on God's love, we can be bold. We are always under the misconception that we are sinners because of the sins we have committed. We are always confronted with the thought that we are accountable to God for our sins and we are scared of it. This is only for the people who are under law and who are not aware of God's love for them. And people who haven't believed on the love of God. But people who believe on God's love will be bold on the Judgement day. But we should not believe ourselves, our good works etc. We should only believe how much God loves us. He loves us to such a great extent that he gave His son to us. For 2000 years, the church did not taste the love of God. We have only complained. When we were in difficulty, debt or pain, we thought that God did not love us. We are in such situations because we have believed Law. The law always points out our faults irrelevant of what we do. But God is not like that. He wants us to know how much he loved us first. All our faults and As God was in this world, so also are we in this world. As God is in heaven, we will also be like Him. When the 2nd coming takes place, we will be changed like him. When we are like Him, we get boldness on the judgement day. If we are in fear wondering whether God will deliver us out of our difficulty or not. Then, we will be in fear on the Judgement day. How was God when He was on the earth? When God was on this earth, all his enemies were under His feet. Jesus crushed away all the enemies in the cross. After being victorious over the enemies, He went to heaven. When Jesus was on the earth he won over death. He raised Lazarus from the dead. He raised Jairus' daughter and a widow's son. Death was under the feet of Jesus. That is the reason He told His disciples, 'I will die and rise again.' Jesus said, 'I will defeat death and be victorious.' This statement states, " As Jesus was on the earth, even we should be like Him on this earth." Hallelujah! Did the church ever pray, that we should be like Jesus on this earth? Only the grief of Jesus on the cross and his death is shown by people all over the world. But nobody ever showed death under the feet of Jesus. As Jesus was on the earth if we are like Him, then we will be rejoicing in His rapture. Jesus performed many miracles and was PAGE 22 THE ACTS AUGUST 2013
