not put us to shame. God is at peace with us after removing our sins in the cross, so we should also be at peace with ourselves. The Grace gospel is a gospel of Peace, Eternal peace. EPHESIANS 6 : 15 - 16 SAYS, And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the ?ery darts of the wicked. When we have truth, grace and peace, we will be able to stand. Otherwise we will be pulled down by the difficulties. We should hold onto faith which will deliver us from all the arrows of the devil. GENESIS 17 : 1 - 2 SAYS, And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect. And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly. God blessed Abraham and Sarah and promised a son. But he did not believe God and had a son Ishmael, with Hagar. He wondered at God’s promise to bless him again. GENESIS 17 : 3 -5 SAYS, And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying, As for me behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations. Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. God promised to make Abraham father of many nations. Abraham had faith but it was not working. He knew that it was possible with God but his faith was not working.
GENESIS 17 : 15 - 16 SAYS, And God said unto Abraham, As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be. And I will bless her, and give thee a son also of her: yea, I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations, kings of people shall be of her. God knew that Abraham had faith. As he was not saying to himself, it was not fruitful. God changed Abraham’s and Saraha’s name which meant, father and mother of many nations. When Abraham and Sarah, their servants and others started calling their changed names, their faith stirred and what could not be in 25 years was done in 1 year!
