The Fruit of Meditation
us to circumstances and diffculties. It limits us and we conclude that we will not be delivered. Paul says, when we have the knowledge of God and faith in Him, it will give us peace. It means for example, if we have a debt, then God will give us money more than our debt and we get peace. God will give us peace more than the understanding. Our faith is the medicine for all our diseases, sicknesses and difficulties. So we should always say to ourselves. David always spoke to himself and encouraged himself. There was nobody to encourage the woman with the issue of blood, she encouraged herself. Likewise, we should also say to oursleves, encourage oursleves and our faith will solve the problems. PHILIPPIANS 4 : 8 SAYS, Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. We may have many problems. Even the woman with the issue of blood had problems, but she meditated only on her healing which is the truth. Paul shares his secret, we should not meditate on our problems but on the truth and then we magnify it. The problems put us down. When we magnify the solution that Jesus has for us, it will overtake the problem. The woman with the issue of blood, meditated on the true, pure, lovely, good report of touching only the hem of Jesus’ garment for healing. This overtook all her problems, griefs and magnified the healing. Paul says that he underwent many trials but he was not depressed of them because he did not magnify them. In the same manner, we also should not meditate on our sickness and problems and magnigy them. Instead we should meditate on the healing and solution and magnify them.
PHILIPPIANS 4 : 9 SAYS, Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you. Paul is asking us to imitate him. And we will also receive God’s peace like him. PHILIPPIANS 4 : 13 SAYS, I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. We should also like Paul say that we can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth us. Things may seem impossible but we should say that because of Jesus everything is possible. All the believers are aware of this, but it is fruitful only for them who say to themselves. It gives the Power. If we are sick, we should say healing to ourselves which is the Power. PHILIPPIANS 1 : 6 SAYS, Being con?dent of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. Paul is asking us not to be in confusion thinking that God has left us, made us ineligible and is not answering our prayers. God is saying that he will not leave us nor forsake us. God who started victoriously will also finish victoriously and not fail or leave us in the middle. In this journey we will not be pulled down by our baggages of sorrow or be drowned by our problems. Instead we will throw our baggages into the sea and reach the shore safely as there are no obstacles for faith. It can pierce through anything and make a way. There is no defeat for faith. PHILIPPIANS 3 : 13 - 14 SAYS, Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which
out of many problems.
Paul’s faith delivered him
When we meditate on the word and pray diligently for deliverance then the Holy Spirit will help and deliver us from the problem
