ISSUE 02 | WINTER 2013/14
MINDEN COMPANY
For our last camp of 2013 we travelled to Otterburn in
Northumberland.
One of the best things about Otterburn is the ranges, so
we of course used these to their full potential with many
of our cadets getting to shoot on a range they never
had before.
We identified some great shots and many of our cadets
received shooting badges.
As well as this, more star testing was completed while
our Two Stars were put through their paces in
preparation for their up-coming Three Star.

Otterburn is usually busy with regular, reserve and
cadet forces from around the country and further afield
in attendance at various times. One of the units in camp
at the same time as us was the Army Air Corps, who
kindly invited the Company to have a look round their
Apache helicopters. Now THAT’S something you don’t
get to do every day!
