As part of his ongoing partnership with Nike, Grammy-nominated singer and Louisville native Bryson Tiller returned to his roots in June to present a fully refurbished basketball court to his hometown Wyandotte Park. The singer christened the new playing court at its opening event and celebration, which consisted of three hours of basketball skill clinics for children in the local community. That same evening, Bryson concluded his latest run of pop-up shows at Louisville’s Mercury Ballroom, where he performed new music from his recent No. 1 debut album True to Self.    Bryson’s favorite message of encouragement – “It’s Possible Here” is written on the court sidelines. The saying has special meaning for the singer, who recalls, “Whenever you fly into Louisville, you see a sign that says, ‘It’s Possible Here.’ I remember my first time seeing it...I was working on my debut album, and I just thought, ‘Wow, it is possible here.’ Everybody always thinks you have to move out of the city and go where the music industry is, but it’s possible in Louisville, and it’s possible anywhere. You just have to believe.” With the release of his second album, True to Self, Bryson Tiller will continue to captivate fans  following the success of his 2015 album, T R A P S O U L. Tiller’s debut album reached significant milestones, including RIAA Platinum certification with over 2.1 billion streams in the U.S.  Album tracks “Don’t” and “Exchange” are certified Triple Platinum, “Sorry Not Sorry” is certified Platinum and “Rambo” and “Overtime” are certified Gold by the RIAA. Tiller was nominated for a GRAMMY (Best R&B Song for “Exchange”), won two BET Awards for Best New Artist and Best Male R&B/Pop Artist and has sold-out 47 shows on his T R A P S O U L tour in both the U.S. and Europe.  Bryson will return to the stage on his upcoming Set It Off Tour, which will kick off this August in Atlanta and make over 25 stops before concluding for a hometown finale at Louisville’s KFC Yum! Center. For the latest Bryson Tiller news: www.trapsoul.com
