NOUVELLE VAGUE AND LE MÉRIDIEN’ S GLOBAL MUSIC PARTNERSHIP CELEBRATES PARIS ROOTS
The French music collective’ s renewed deal with the global hotel chain will see its new music exclusively played to Le Méridien guests first. Parisian pop band Nouvelle Vague will uniquely perform for guests at Le Méridien hotels around the world. The French-born brands have already been collaborating for three years, with curated playlists welcoming hotel guests. One of the new singles on Nouvelle Vague’ s new album‘ La Pluie et le Beau Temps’, was even written specifically for Le Méridien, to celebrate their partnership. The band of popular Paris musicians launched its fifth album release,‘ I Could Be Happy’ with an intimate, acoustic set in Le Meridien’ s London hotel. Another gig will follow in Barcelona for March 2017.
Late-night music series‘ Paris After Dark’ premiered in Shanghai and Vienna in late 2016. Meanwhile, the flagship Paris hotel’ s Jazz Club Etoile, is hosting Nouvelle Vague Presents, which will feature emerging talent throughout 2017. Nouvelle Vague’ s music pays homage to Bossa Nova, the‘ New Wave’ and 1960’ s French cinema.
