Who influenced your style? No one person influenced me. I take influence from what I’ ve seen and done. That, and what I’ ve seen other people do growing up. Basically every day life.
Who do you want to work with in the future? There are so many. Fetty Wap, DJ Khaled, G-Herbo, Lil Bibby, Taylor Swift, Rick Ross, Drake, the list goes on.
What do you want fans to get out of your music? I just want them to realize that Broccoli is the greatest artist of all time, since I really am. Fact.
What song of yours is your favourite? TMZ, because it’ s my first full release with a video, it’ s on worldstarhiphop. com. It was shot in my projects in Rahway NJ so that makes it my favourite too.
What made you want to get into the business? Honestly, I used to just rap for fun but everybody would tell me I was fire. So, I started writing songs. I was introduced to a few celebrities, who had heard my music and the feedback got me thinking“ Yea I can do this.” I write for myself now but I started by ghost writing for a few mainstream artists, I would never say who because that’ s lame and will ruin future ghost writing jobs. A real business man wouldn’ t do that, plus it breaks street code. Any artist’ s who want to discuss business, get at me.
What do you think about when developing a song? I listen to the beat until the idea for the hook hits me. If it comes to me in less than 2 minutes, then I know I’ ve got something special. If it doesn’ t hit me that fast then I skip to the next beat, even if I like it. Only because that lets me know it’ s not magic meant for me.
What is your musical background? Banging on a lunch table, rapping ping in school with friends. That, and a jail cell, but that’ s for another time.
What would be your dream venue in which to perform for them? Madison Square Garden in NYC.

I do it for my ride or die real fans who love me.

You have released a freestyle cover of D. R. A. M. and Lil Yachty’ s track Broccoli, what made you pick this track to cover? Their video went viral! The song is titled Broccoli and I’ m Broccoli, so it was a must do.
We see you have a number of tattoos, do you have a favourite? Most of my tattoos are for loved ones who I’ ve lost, I can’ t really say I have a favourite.
On the subject of ink, you have a unique tattoo on your head, what was the concept behind this? Well as we all know I’ m the king of music. Therefore my tattoo theme for my head was‘ King’. I have a crown, the word‘ Royalty’ and a king chess piece along with my last name.
In your video for‘ Trap House Tat’, there are a few scenes of you holding a snake, is this yours? Yes, it’ s a female ball python. Her name is Ami and you will see her in all my videos, she will be at some of my events too.
Do you have any other pets? Sure. I have a blue nose pit bull named Bella. She is my baby. I also have two frogs and some exotic fish.
We hear you’ re working with an acting coach. Is acting something you’ re keen to pursue alongside your rap career? I recently got my headshots and acting is definitely in my future. It’ s something I’ ve been wanting to do but I’ m taking my time to learn. I want to be respected as an actor, while getting my music noticed worldwide. I was introduced to Queen Latifah and she told me I was a star. She let me travel with her across the country. She gave me a once in a lifetime chance, I’ ve learnt a lot from her. We became good friends. I look up to her as a big sister, watching her gives me the drive and motivation to go hard.
