Director
An All-round Leader
Rev Fr. Shaiju Augustine Thoppil is
the Director of Lordes. He has been
associated with Lourdes Society for
Healthcare and Research since 2008.
After completing his Master of
Hospital Administration from Father
Muller Medical College, Mangalore,
he joined Lourdes Hospital as
Associate Director. In his new role as
Director of Lourdes Institutions, Fr.
Shaiju has been responsible for the
entire operations of Lourdes Hospital
Kochi, Lourdes College of Nursing,
Lourdes School of Nursing, Kristu
Jayanti Hospital, Lourdes Academy of
Health Sciences, and Lourdes academy
for clinical Training.
Fr. Shaiju has around one decade of
professional experience in Healthcare
Administration. He has taken several
successful quality initiatives to
improve Patient Safety and Quality
Healthcare. He is also the President of
AMCSFNCK (Association of the
Management of Christian Self
Financing Nursing Colleges of Kerala).
He is also playing a devoting role in
the Healthcare delivery system of the
state as the secretary of CHAI Kerala
(Catholic Health Association of India)
and secretary of health commission
(KRLCBC).

include Kristu Jayanti Hospital, Kristu
Jayanti Ayur Care, Sidhi Sadhan
College of Nursing, Lourdes College
of Paramedical science, School of

The hospital as a Post Graduate
Institute of Medical Science &
Research offers 16 post-graduation
medical courses. Under the DNB
program it offers courses in General
Medicine, Family Medicine,
Paediatrics, Anesethesia, General
Surgery, Orthopaedics,
Otorhinolaryngology, Gynaecology,

Outreach Programs
Family Medicine Department provides
continuing and comprehensive
healthcare for the individuals and
family. It integrates the biological,
clinical, and behavioral sciences and
encompasses all ages, sexes, each
organ system, and every disease entity.
The hospital provides primary care for

outreach Clinics are organized at seven
