amed after its Founder, Sadhu T. L. Vaswani, the
Sadhu Vaswani Mission, Pune has been serving the
humanity for over six decades. Working in the fields of
education, medical relief, cultural, and spiritual advancement,
the Mission has been serving generations with compassion and
kindness. It is a distinguished world over as a humanitarian
service organization, respected for its integrity and
commitment. The Mission seeks to extend a helping hand to
the destitute, needy, and underprivileged irrespective of caste,
creed, race or religion. In India, its service activities extend
across the spheres of education, medical aid, village upliftment,
relief, and rehabilitation, vocational training, spiritual meetings
and satsangs.
Dada J. P. Vaswani envisioned a dream project to build a
hospital. “Where no sick person would be turned away for lack
of funds; where even the lowliest of the lowly irrespective of the
pecuniary standing would receive the medical treatment that
his condition required; where a patient would not be reduced to
a mere case number, but would be treated with love, respect,
and sympathy,” he says.
With this dream at heart, the Sadhu Vaswani Mission's Medical
Complex was set up. Since its inception, the charitable multi-
discipline general hospital named Inlaks & Budhrani
Hospital has been run by the Sadhu Vaswani Mission for last
30 years. Inlaks & Budhrani was commissioned in the year
1989 and was inaugurated on 9th January 1989 at the Holy
Hands of Mother Teresa (Noble Laureate). The Mission has
also established a dedicated Cancer Institute known as Morbai
Naraindas Budhrani Cancer Institute and Kriplani & Kundnani
Eye Institute for community Ophthalmology and Fabiani &
Budhrani Heart Institute, a temple of Healing Hearts. It is a
philanthropic non-profit institute, which has been rendering
medical services to the under privileged and needy sections of
