carefully screened to make sure
they have everything required to
produce a healthy embryo. So,
although your doctor may
harvest 10 to 20 eggs, it may be
that only a small portion of these
can actually be used to create
embryos for IVF transfer.

study was done at Institute
Marques fertility Clinique in
Barcelona Spain with 1,000
embryos. 500 were subjected to
music during IVF. This included
a variety of genres and artists
played 24 hours per day such as
Mozart, Madonna, Metallica,
Nirvana and Michael Jackson.
The other 500 embryos did not
have access to music in their
incubators. For the eggs
fertilized, rates were higher by
5% in incubators in which music
was being played.
