What is Halloween?
Halloween is a national holiday celebrated all over the world, known by different names. There are many theories on how the holiday came about. Some think it came from Celtic traditions, but some think it originated from a Christian holiday.
Others think that it derived from Rome and one of heir feasts. Most people believe it originated from the Celtic feast of Samhain, which means, "summers end". This festival marked the end of summer and signified the coming of winter. From there, Halloween evolved and became what it is know today.
