Mattie's (staay-beaautifuul) Story

Dear Maxfield,

I loved seeing you on the show! I’m from Nashville, too, and seeing you on the show made me so happy. From what you post on twitter, I can tell that you are a true southern gentlemen (and those are a rarity nowadays). You are just so loving and fun! I wish there were more people like you in the world. You beat out thousands of people from everywhere by landing a spot on the show.

I love the way you sing. Your voice is just beautiful. I’ve never heard any other like it. Please, keep singing. It’s a gift so many people want, and you have it.

Even though you left the competition too early, you still had an impact on everyone who watched. I want you to know that no matter what, you never need to give up on this. “The Glee Project” was just the start for you. Now, take your next steps, for people like me. People who’d do anything to be on the show, and love you.

Sincerely, Mattie D.

Dear Blake,

I can’t express how happy I was (still am, really) when you won “The Glee Project.” I mean, you are so talented, and deserved it. We all saw your journey on the show, and to see you on “Glee” now makes it all worth it.

You are hands down one of the best actors on the show. I mean, you’re character is so relateable, and you do such a good job portraying someone with dyslexia. And your singing just makes my (and every other girls’) heart melt.

Your friendships with everyone on Glee and The Glee Project makes all of us want to be your friend. You’re such an awesome guy. There’s never a dull moment with you, I bet! You’re one of those people that other people want to be around, people want to be your friend. And there’s not many people like that.

Please, no matter what happens in years to come, please keep doing what you do. People love you and what you do and how you do it. Don’t let anyone get you down. Because you’re too amazing to be brought down by anyone who tries.

Love always, Mattie D.
