Lower-income groups are targeted through Food Stamp (Snap) programs created to help feed that population. The following is where that money gets spent:

10% in sugary drinks

70% on Processed Foods

All these foods have little or no nutrition and feed 15% of our population.

As a result, 25% of our children have pre-diabetes or Type II diabetes. One generation ago, there was 0% of the population of our children with Type II Diabetes.

These government-supported food programs cause obesity, inflammation, and Chronic Disease (autoimmune disease, cancer, heart disease, liver disease, and more) and can be viewed as "Structural Racism".
