Texas has a history of fight and brave belic scenes, nonetheless, pride within texans looks like a mystery to those who haven’t heard of their troubled past. Bob Bullock Museum depicts every and each of the elegant and rustic flavors of Texas history, in an IMAX screen, not only showing and narrating texans journey, but giving to the expectator a taste of the sweet and bitter delight of the 4D movies.
Taking in account centuries of American history, the Bob Bullock Spirit Theater displays a magnificent, sensorial demonstration of the settlement of Texas, from the Mexican Texas, to the post-civil war era. The mention of important characters and the description of the typical southern life in the early 19th century, gradually achieves the creation of a colorful picture of Texas, its progress to a independent country, and the problems it faced as Mexico’s situation neglected the lone star state.
It is clearly superb, perfectly connected in the 5 senses, The Star of Destiny relates how Mr. Austin fought for the independence of Texas with the cooperation of a society that had a mixed background; tejanos, americans and mexican fought Santa Anna’s tyranny with the old, famous courage that characterizes texans.
Multiples screens and projectors assure the ultimate and unique movie experience. Mannequins and scenography hidden behind projector’s images reveal throughout the film different stories told by witnesses and settlers, making the story’s plot, not only real but heavily decorated with beautiful voices and pictures that recreated 1800’s Texas.
Everything’s perfect and adequate for the narration, yet, the best part is the 4D sensation, absolutely. This features that interact directly with the audience, really achieve the complete experience. Rattlesnakes snatch from the seats’ bottoms unexpectedly, taking away the spectator's breath and trespassing the line that joins fiction and reality.
