Four Corners Folk Festival
CRUISE A THONG.
9th Annual Pagosa Springs
Cruise-A-Thong
Pagosa has you covered for the 4th of July – but don’t feel left
out if you didn’t make it there are tons of events all summer
long. The 9th Annual Pagosa Springs Cruise-A-Thong for one!
On Sat. July 18, the highly anticipated Cruise-A-Thong
will be held in Town Park & Reservoir Hill on July 19th. The
weekend will be two days of fun with three events. On Saturday, in Town Park, it’s the “Average Jo(e) Race”. This is a
triathlon designed for the not-so-hardcore athlete in all of us!
Like a triathlon, the course consists of three legs; however, this
is a bit more relaxed.
1. The first being a “cruiser” bike ride (or other self-propelled
method of transportation) through downtown Pagosa Springs.
2. Next, a thong (that is to say “flip-flop”) walk along the “almost world famous” Pagosa Springs River Walk.
3. Lastly, tube floats (or other flotation device) down the San
Juan River.
2015 64th Annual Archuleta County Fair
