Take On The Heat Triathlon
Take on the Heat Triathlon was a challenging event supporting a great cause. Over 250 athletes competed at Hidden Cove Park Aug 18th. The atheltes began their day by swimming 350 meters in Lake Lewisville they then biked 11 miles in scenic Hidden Cove Park and through the surrounding neighborhoods. To finish the event athletes ran 3.1 miles through the park to finish the triathlon with the sounds of great music, cheering spectators, refreshing coconut water and ice towels. Proceeds from this event benefited The Colony Firefighter Association.
