PRODUCTS Klark Teknik targets large environments with AES50 extender multiple clock source options – with precision up to one ppm – for increased integration exibility. User control is via an internal web server, which allows for familiar browserbased con guration via a dedicated Ethernet control port, thereby not restricting users to any computing platform. The Klark Teknik DN9680 AES50 extender DESIGNED SPECIFICALLY for use with Midas digital consoles, Klark Teknik’s DN9680 port extender has been expanded to provide a ‘pristine transmission feed’ for up to 192 channels of AES50 digital audio via a dual bre-optical cable. This is 10 times that currently available over Cat-5. The 8-port extender includes support for dual-redundant AES50 networking and also provides Shipping: Now Web: www.klarkteknik.com ‘Perfect stereo imaging’ Revolabs with Røde’s Stereo Bar connects to the cloud INCORPORATING THE same audio technology as the rest of the FLX family of products, Revolabs’ new FLX UC 1000 aims to set a new standard in conference phone audio by combining high- delity audio with an ‘eye-catching’, compact design. Doubling as a highperformance IP conference phone and a USB audio device, the 1000’s design enables THE LATEST ancillary to be released by Røde Microphones has begun shipping. The Stereo Bar is a precision microphone mount capable of quickly forming stereo arrays. Spacing marks for the microphones are indicated on both sides at 10-, 15- and 20cm increments – as well as the 17cm distance necessary for ORTF stereo recordings – allowing for quick set-up of common mounting con gurations. In the middle of the Stereo Bar is an angle indicator displaying both 90-degrees for X-Y stereo arrays and 110-degrees for ORTF placement. The bar is constructed from PC-ABS plastic and can support the weight of two large diaphragm microphones at a capsule distance of up to 20cm. Microphones are mounted via two removable -inch threads that slide along the bar, with spacers mounted below the bar that can be relocated to the top for con guration of stacked microphone pairs. The Stereo Bar from Røde When combined with the manufacturer’s Pivot Adaptor accessory, the Stereo Bar can be tilted through 210-degrees to increase versatility. The unit features audio capture and delivery via premium tweeter and mid-woofer elements, four microphones for 360-degree coverage, and integrated echo cancellation. For IP calling, the FLX UC 1000 features a separate dialler with a colour display, while USB support allows users to connect the speakerphone to any laptop, PC, or tablet for use with all marketleading IP PBX phone systems. The compact device can also function as a bridge for joining IP calls with USB applications. A smaller version of the 1000 has also been released. Named the FLX UC 500, the unit is made from the same components but omits the IP-calling and SIP telephony tools. BUILDING ON the success of the analogue MI-808 IEM, Mipro has introduced the MI-909, the industry’s rst digitally encrypted IEM system. The Taiwanese manufacturer has also begun showcasing the new MA-505 Personal Wireless PA System. The MI-909 is a single-channel, professional monitoring system offering a clean RF path, and high digital audio quality. Consisting of MI-909R diversity bodypack receiver and MI-909T half-rack transmitter, the new system features wideband 64MHz digital RF modulation to accommodate large systems in one The MI-909 IEM system frequency band. Described as the industry’s lightest and smallest receiver, the MI-909R, features dual-antennas, whilst the MI-909T, a half-rack all-met al transmitter, also houses a large LCD screen, rotary control, digital encryption, EQ settings, scan and ACT sync. Another release from Mipro has been the MA-505 portable ‘all-in-one’ solution for small audio applications. The speaker houses a built-in Class-D ampli er that drives the two-way loudspeaker, and can be paired with up to four compatible receivers. Built-in Bluetooth allows for music streaming via compatible devices, whilst the VOP (voice over music priority) feature automatically mutes the music when the wireless microphone is used. The RX-2 rack-mountable remote controlled networked mixer takes an analogue output from myMix, and is then capable of feeding a mix to a wireless IEM-transmitter or to an ampli er. The unit comes in a solid metal housing and has been designed to be operated via the myMix Control web-based interface. The remote mixer has the same mixing capabilities as a standard myMix, meaning it can select up to 16 audio channels from the network to create a stereo mix, whilst also controlling volume, pan, tone control and stereo effects per channel. The RX-2 can transport a mix that is created on a myMix in one place via the network to another location. For example, a musician on stage is creating a stereo mix and is sending that mix to the network. The RX-2 selects that mix signal and can add extra channels like talkback or intercom from other sources; the output is then fed to a wireless transmitter for in-ear monitors. An optional RMRX rackmount kit for up to three RX-2s in a 1U format is also available. Shipping: Now Web: www.mymixaudio.com
