APPOINTMENTS
WORLD: Luke Jenks has been
promoted to the newly created
position of Meyer Sound director of
product management.
Having previously served the
company as loudspeaker product
manager, he will now represent
the manufacturer’s full range of
solutions from loudspeakers to
show control, system optimisation,
and passive and active acoustic
systems.
‘Luke is intimately familiar with
our products at all levels, but
more importantly, he has served
as the important bridge between
customers and engineering to
help translate the needs and

said Helen Meyer, Meyer Sound
executive vice president. ‘There is
no better suited candidate than
Luke to help drive our product
strategy and ensure customer
success throughout the product
lifecycle.’
As director of product
management, Mr Jenks is
responsible for de ning market
needs, articulating customer
requirements, and representing
customer feedback throughout
the lifecycle of a product. He also
assumes direction of a newly
formed product management team
encompassing market requirement
de nition, new product
introductions, and technical
documentation. The team
includes Richard Bugg, audio
show control product manager,
Todd Meier, digital products
manager, Greg Thomas,
technical writer, and Rong
Wang, new product introduction
technical project manager.
Mr Jenks began his career at
Meyer Sound in 1989 working as
an engineering technician and
technical support associate. He
was later appointed as director
of European technical support.
As loudspeaker product manager
since 2010, he was principally
responsible for launching the
company’s Leo and Lyon line array
systems and the 1100-LFC lowfrequency control element.

New managing director
for TC Group China
CHINA: TC Group has appointed
Peter Glinvard as managing
director of TC Group China,
its regional sales and support
company. Additionally, the division
has recently been incorporated as
in general management and
as the chairman of the Danish
Wind Energy Group – China, the
company described his ‘in-depth
knowledge of the Chinese culture
and uency in the language’ as a
1/2 island
The new managing director of TC Group China, Peter Glinvad
a WFOE (Wholly Foreign Owned
Entity) and has moved to a new,
larger facility in the Chaoyang
District.
Originally from Denmark, Mr
Glinvad has been working and
living in China for the past 12
years. With previous experience
