Randy Klein
named Crestron CEO

appointment, Dan Feldstein has
been named vice chairman and
COO, and Fred Bargetzi has been
promoted to the newly created CTO
position. As the son of the founder,
career, having been a member
of the Crestron family for over 25
years.
‘Crestron is my life and my
passion,’ said Mr Klein. ‘Moving
forward, I see nothing but
opportunity for Crestron and I look
forward to continued growth and
success.’
Mr Feldstein Jr also has a long
background with the company, and
originally started working in the
R&D department over 20 years ago.
Moving forward, he and Mr Klein
will work side-by-side.
‘Since the day Crestron was
founded, we have never wavered
from my father’s vision,’ Mr
Feldstein said. ‘Randy has always
shared that vision and over the
years has truly become a member
of the family.’
Mr Bagetzi, previously vice
president of technology, has also
been a long-standing member of
the Crestron family.
As VP of technology he was
responsible for leading technology
strategy in key areas including
the enterprise class .NET
control platform, UI and mobile
applications, and the DigitalMedia
product line.
‘For 25 years I have worked
side by side with Fred,’ Mr Klein
explained. ‘Over that time he
has been responsible for helping
shape much of the technology and
success of the company.’
Germany, then went on to work
for companies and institutions
such as the German Broadcast
Technology Institute and BFE.
He is described as having vast
experience and deep knowledge
of the broadcast market, and
particularly of IP technology and
its use in broadcast environments.
One of his aims will be the
further development and
expansion of the VSM family of
products.

Mackie boosts APAC
support with new
product specialist
ASIA: Loud Technologies’ Music
Gear Group has appointed Raymond
Tee to the position of Mackie APAC
product specialist. He joins the
company with 11 years’ experience
in the live sound industry and will be
based in Malaysia. His appointment
comes in anticipation of the
manufacturer debuting a brand new
product line.
‘We are delighted to have Raymond
join the Loud team at this very
exciting time for product innovation
across the Mackie portfolio, and
the corresponding growth in the
APAC Region,’ remarked Rohan
Smith, Loud’s director of APAC Music
Gear Sales. ‘Raymond will add
another dimension to our Mackie
distributor support capabilities,
and is further evidence of our
continued investment in regionwide partnership and market
development.’
Prior to joining the manufacturer,
Mr Tee worked as operations
manager for a large rental company
in Malaysia, Singesen Technical
Production Sdn Bhd. He has also
previously held positions with
Harman Malaysia as an application
engineer, as well as in pro audio
distribution. In his new position he
will report to Mr Smith.

Hubert Hubbes joins L-S-B product management team
WORLD: L-S-B Broadcast
Technologies has bolstered its
product management team with
the addition of Hubert Hubbes.
Mr Hubbes originally joined the
company at the start of the year.
According to L-S-B, in his new role
he will ‘contribute his knowledge
and expertise’ to the further
development of the manufacturer’s
products.
Mr Hubbes boasts impressive
experience within broadcasting.
He studied at the University for

Adamson’s new technical sales
director for Asia Pacific, David
Dohrmann

Mr Dohrmann graduated
with a sound engineering
degree from Robert Schumann
Academy in Düsseldorf and is
in the chair of the live sound
section at Germany’s Tonmeister
association, VDT. Before joining
Adamson he worked freelance
in the international touring and
event scene.

new position,’ Mr Dohrmann
commented. ‘The Asian markets

Biamp targets Indian
growth with expanded
regional director role
ASIA: Biamp Systems has
announced the promotion of
Matthew Packer. In addition to his
current role as regional director
of Asia-Paci c, and because of
the company’s strategy to grow
operations in the region, Mr
Packer’s responsibilities now
also include overseeing all sales
operations and teams in India.
