because of all the changes in the
industry, we are showing the industry
that Avix Tech is strong. The moves
have affected the whole market, it
touched everyone. But it’s good to
have a new relationship with Avix
Tech, they were our competition and
now they are our partners. They’re

Sama ProSound, which has
acquired HK Audio having lost QSC
to Sovico Systems, enjoyed one of
the busiest stands at Koba 2014,
with regular demonstrations of the
new Shure QLX-D digital wireless
microphone system, which was
launched at the show. The company
also held Shure and HK Audio
demonstrations which proved so
popular that only early arrivals were
gaining entry. ‘It’s been very exciting
because it’s our rst time here with
HK Audio and Apogee Electronics
since we’ve become their distributor,’
commented Jason Inn, president of
Sama ProSound. ‘We’ve had a lot of
interest, with a good reaction and
response to the new products we’re
representing. It’s a good way forward
for us; change can sometimes be a
blessing.’
Elsewhere, relative stability reigned.
