This book was on a Jewish family that has to go to a concentration camp. When they got to the camp he got split up from mom and sisters. He and his dad went one way and his mom and sister went the other. We him and his dad and family had to get shaved from head to toe and get marked. When he went to the camp he was 15 years old. He has a mom, a dad, a younger sister, and two older sisters. Only he and sisters made it out alive. His mom and sister tizpoiah and father died during the concentration camp. He lived and made it to become a top selling book author. He wrote this book based on the experience at the concentration camp. Based on a true story.

Elie Wiesel is the author of 57 books, including the famous book Night, talking about his experiences in the holocaust as a teenager. His mother and younger sister passed away, and his two older sisters survived. Eile and his father were transported to Buchenwald, where his father died shortly after the camp was liberated. He studied in Paris after the holocaust and became an author. He was persuaded to write about his holocaust experience, resulting in Night, an internationally acclaimed memoir that has been translated into more than 30 languages. In 1978, President Jimmy Carter appointed Wiesel as Chairman of the President’s commission of the Holocaust. In 1980, he became the founding Chairman of the United States Holocaust Memorial Council. He has also been awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the United States of America Congressional Gold Medal, the French Legion of Honor, and in 1986, the Nobel Peace Prize. He is now a Boston University professor, a member of the Faculty in the department of religion as well as the Department of Philosophy.
