Navigate to the Inventory view 6. Right-click the desired level to grant user permission, such as the main vCenter level. Click Add Permission. 7. Add and locate the desired user account, and select the recently created User Role. Click Add. 8. Click OK. Note: When you add the vCenter to vRanger’s inventory, use this account for authentication. 2.7.2 vSphere 4.x To create a vRanger user on vSphere 4: 1. Navigate to Administration > Roles. 2.
