The Northern Texas PGA Senior Associates’ Tour was not conducted in 2012. However, the Northern Texas PGA created
a new Senior Division for PGA professionals 50 years of age or older at the Eastern, Western, Section and Match Play
Championships. The new format proved to be successful as a total of 62 professionals participated in the Senior Division
and competed for $19,600.00 in prize money.
The Bill Woodward Senior-Junior Classic was also conducted in 2012, but changed from a two day, 36-hole Four-Ball
competition to a one day, 18-hole Four-Ball competition.
Bill Woodward Senior-Junior Classic – Host: Denton Country Club. Overall Professional Champions: Paul
Norris (Golden Bear Golf Center) and Richard Noon (Golden Bear Golf Center). First Place: $700.00 per team /
$350.00 per player. Overall Pro-Amateur Champions: Rohan Allwood (Brook Hollow Golf Club) and Mark Todd
(a). First Place: $600.00 per team / $300.00 per player.
