The Northern Texas PGA Senior Associates’ Tour was not conducted in 2012. However, the Northern Texas PGA created a new Senior Division for PGA professionals 50 years of age or older at the Eastern, Western, Section and Match Play Championships. The new format proved to be successful as a total of 62 professionals participated in the Senior Division and competed for $19,600.00 in prize money. The Bill Woodward Senior-Junior Classic was also conducted in 2012, but changed from a two day, 36-hole Four-Ball competition to a one day, 18-hole Four-Ball competition.
