Nokia Mobisight Jul- Dec’ 12 Unveils Mobile Internet Usage Pattern

Tata Indicom has introduced a new Value Added Service( VAS) called“ Guess a Song” for its subscribers in New Delhi circle. The service has been launched in collaboration with UBONA Technologies. The service allows subscribers play with their friends an engaging game of guessing the songs which are played on the IVR. There are 15 challenges to be played in a month with 5 songs to guess per game which can be played by the user himself, with friends or by challenging other Tata subscribers. The unique feature of the service lies in the fact that it can be synced with Facebook, where your scores will get automatically updated. Further, while playing if a user likes a song h e / she can download that song as a call me tune immediately. Rishi Mohan Malhotra, Head VAS, Tata Teleservices Limited said,“ Guess a Song service is an innovative service in the music category. The intuitive user experience, engaging content and High quality voice recognition are but some of the features that make this service special and engaging. Besides these we have synced it with Facebook and therefore created an engaging mix of Music, Gaming and Social networking which I am confident will be appreciated and liked by our users.” Tata Indicom Guess a Song can be subscribed by dialling IVR short code of 51122( Toll Free) and through USSD by dialing * 512 #. Subscription charges of Rs 30 / month will apply.“ We have developed a range of innovative products based on our speech and pattern recognition technologies with Guess a song being the latest and first of its kind entertainment and gaming product. We believe this will bring immense value to the consumers of Tata.” said Jyotirmoy Chakravorty, CEO- Ubona Technologies.

Nokia Mobisight has captured the behaviour of mobile internet users, and provides insights on preferences for games, apps, music and more. The survey portrays a paradoxical picture of a country which loves music, gaming and social networking on one hand and also seeks privacy for its online and mobile presence.
