The Thermo-Lite Adult and Pediatric Transport Cocoons
protect patients from exposure to the elements and assist
in maintaining body temperature by preventing convective
heat loss and by reflecting radiant heat. It retains blood and
bodily fluids during transport, reducing accidental exposure
and contamination of vehicles, and reducing cleanup time.
Lightweight and easily storable, the Transport Cocoon has
adjustable velcro closures which enables quick access for
treatment and proper fit. Made from strong, supple, nonconductive, radio-translucent composite material of nonlinting thermoplastics and aluminum.
