growth trends in contrast, more marked in the
case of wood construction, however positive
for the steel sector. Restrained losses during
the crisis in the components and systems
were recorded too, and a tendency to grab
the slight recovery taking place sooner and
in a better way.
With regard to building innovative programs, examples of good national practices also chosen this year for our report are
selected for construction systems, components and systems, covering both the new
construction and the structural and energetic redevelopment of existing buildings. The
choice was made to deepen the innovative
aspects of the interventions that have the greatest potential for development in the near
future and to show how is actually possible
to achieve decent standards of sustainable
construction for new buildings and as well
in the case of intervention on existing assets.
In particular, we want to emphasize that a
sustainable construction, both for new one or
in the case of energetic upgrading, cannot
be reached without a system of enterprise
that operates at high-quality standard levels,
in the use of materials and technologies, in
the choice of transparent procedures and selected suppliers and our selected examples
are an effective witness of that.
For building programs with wooden construction system, at the end of our various reflections, we have selected the new certified
building ARCA, quality brand for wood constructions, in Rossatone in Salizzole, Verona,
Veneto region, and the energetic upgrading
and expansion of wood on a residential building’s roof in Revine Lago, Treviso, Veneto Region. For building programs with steel
construction system, we have selected the
new residential building in energetic class A
in Roccelletta of Borgia, Catanzaro, Calabria region and the energetic upgrading of
building Zikkurat Montichiari in Brescia, Lombardia region. For prog rams with massive
brick technology, we have selected the new
residential building high energetic brick performance in Corpolò, Rimini, Emilia Roma-
gna and new residential building ‘Teatro 1 ‘,
A + certified climate house in Udine, Friuli.
For programs with a focus on building components for energy saving, we have selected
the new residential building Minergie San
Martino Buon Albergo, Varese, Lombardia
region and the redevelopment Myths Porta
Palazzo Social Housing in Turin, Piemonte.
In closing, for the energy-saving implants,
we have selected the new complex center
Zero certificate Climate House in Cesa in
Val di Chiana, Arezzo, Tuscany region and
the energetic upgrading of the old building
Casa della Pesa in Bolzano, Trentino Alto
Adige. European project 3ENCULT.
In the third chapter of the report is outlined
the birth and development of the green building’s industrial sectors.
The topic is of strategic importance in the
development of the path of sustainable development since, in this case, the approach
to building production specifically requires
synergy between stakeholders in the supply
chain, aimed at the transformation, in an
ecological sense, in all phases of the productive process, from design and production
of materials and components to the management of the building. The theme is analyzed
through a significant interpretation: that one
of the business networks of green building.
The specificity of the national business, characterized by the presence of small and
micro enterprises and the need, described
above, to operate in synergy between the
industries, makes this an effective tool in the
field of sustainable building and, in particular, in energetic efficiency of buildings.
Therefore, it is about business networks aimed at national green building, with particular reference to those focused on energetic
efficiency of buildings; typings are being
defined, which become evident from the
analysis of existing contracts, and their main
features are being studied; in the end, for
each defined cluster, significant example of
network business are being illustrated.
