A sophisticated layout and design
allowances of previous generation model
KAMAZ 4310 provided for thorough update
of this vehicle. As a result, KAMAZ 43114 deffense vehicle was developed in 1991.
The new vehicle, which resembles its
predecessors, КАМАZ-4310 vehicle, has a
new and reliable engine, a modified gearbox of
model 142, a transmission with interaxle and
cross-axle differentials, centralized tire inflattion system, a modified transfer case, enforced
propeller shafts, new low and top gear shiftiing mechanism, extra fuel tank, high-roofed
cab, KAMA-1260-1 wide cross-section tires of
increased capacity. All of the above features
provide for high maneuverability in most difficcult fields.
