Fashion' with Sarah Wisbey

This workshop aimed to give the
students an understanding of different
concepts of fashion around the world.
After a short presentation on what
influences fashion styles around the
world, the students were given an
opportunity to discuss their views on
what defines fashion.
They then watched some videos on
fashion in different countries and how it
is portrayed in the mainstream media.
Finally, the students were taught about
trend forecasting and were given the
opportunity to create their own
forecast. They were asked to make a
mood board using cuttings from
magazines to support their ideas,
before presenting their work to the rest
of the group.
