Lake Juliette is great for boating, but motors can be no larger than 25 hp. “We have a real good time doing it,” said Scott, who estimated he has been fishing in Lake Juliette about 24 years altogether. “It’s hard to explain what drives a fisherman.” Georgia Department of Natural Resources conservation ranger Tony Wynne sees a lot of activity around Lake Juliette even during the months from October to February while the campground is closed. He said the winter months provide some prime fishing.
