If FotoXStream for Macintosh is used for making remote layouts, it will be necessary set up Macintosh to Windows volume mapping for Color Factory to be able to successfully read out the paths in the JRF files. By clicking Add you may enter the Macintosh volume name and the corresponding Windows path to the resources. (See the above screenshot for an example path.) External XML formats Where: Channel | Job Request Files | External XML formats tab These options enable Color Factory to accept XML-based “job requests files” from other systems. Enable Funkinform Crop Creation XML – Select this option to process Funkinform XML files. To ignore color management options specified in the XML, select Ignore RGB Color Management Commands in XML file and/or Ignore Grayscale Color Management Commands in XML file. Enable CCI NewsDesk XML – Select this option to allow processing according to the CCI XML format. Note that the image file and XML from CCI are archived together in a zip file, which means that you must enable unpacking of zip files under the Input Options node (Miscellaneous tab) and remember to select the Include Subfolders option on that tab. Adding a routing entry (general procedure) Click Add to bring up the routing method dialog where you may choose the type of routing you wish to apply. As you will see, there are a number of methods to choose from, all of which will be described below. Choose the type of routing and a name describing the function of the routing and click OK. Then set your preferences in the following dialog and click OK to save the settings.
