The Wizard visits the Primary School
Dan O’Shea, Drama Teacher
Earlier this month, the cast
from The Wizard Of Oz visited
the EPC to present a small
showcase of this
year’s school
production to
Primary students and staff.
The staff, parents and students enjoyed
the teaser to
The Wizard of
Oz so much
they nearly sold
out of tickets
for the matinee
performance in
twenty minutes!
The performers arrived at the
primary campus dressed in full
costume and stayed in character for the entire afternoon.
They introduced themselves to
the children, answered ques-
tions from Twitter, posed for
photographs and even signed a
few autographs for the lucky
pupils who were given a personalised photograph of the
characters of Oz in
Munchkinland.
The performances on the 25th,
26th and 27th March filled the
atrium and were a huge success. Thank you to all staff,
students and members of TES
who gave
their valuable
time to help
bring such a
fantastic production to the
school.
A special
thank you to
all the cast
and crew
involved in
the show, as
they have
invested so
much of their
lives into creating this outstanding performance. We
look forward to next year’s
TES production. Suggestions
are most welcome!
